Basic Organization was created by Janet Schiesl to provide professional organizing services to busy families, home based business owners, down-sizing seniors and the chronically disorganized in the Northern Virginia and Washington DC Metro area.

Janet has been organizing since 2005. She loves using her background as a space planner to challenge her clients to look at their space differently. She leads the team in large projects and works one -on-one with clients to help the process move quickly and comfortably.

Janet is the President of the Washington DC Chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO). She is a Board Member of the DC Metro Chapter of the Association of Interior Design Professionals (AIDP). She is a member of the National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization (NSGCD) were she is a Specialist in Chronic Disorganization.
